Ronnie Burns was the son of boxer Pinky Burns. In later years he was a boxing referee and judge and covered New Jersey prizefights for The Ring magazine.
Turned professional – 1943 at an underage. He was billed as the youngest Boxer to box in Madison Square Garden – boxed main bouts in New York. New Jersey, Ohio, Massachusetts. He was mainly a club fighter.
He was managed by Allie Ridgeway – Bill Daly – Jack Larkin Boxed under names of Ronnie Bouse – Ron Joe Oliver – Johnnie Boyce – Ronnie Burns
